Carrie Faverty has been a voice over casting director for over 20 years, running the in-house casting divisions at two of New York City's premier recording studios, Heard City and Sound Lounge. Prior to that, she worked in the commercial department of Don Buchwald & Associates. ​In her decades of work, Carrie has cast voice overs for thousands of products. Her casting spans from tv and radio commercials to animated pilots, narrations, video games, audiobooks, and anything else audio-related. She's developed relationships with agents across the globe in an ongoing effort to expand access to foreign language talent. And with her background in both casting and talent, she's an expert in estimating fair non union talent rates for any project. In a continuing effort to find and develop new talent, she teaches VO through her own course, VO Bootcamp. And she’s also an avid karaoke-er and loves a chilled martini.
