Kristin Paiva is a casting and voice director with over 20 years of experience in the industry, known for shaping bold, inclusive storytelling across animation and interactive media. She spent more than 18 years at The Walt Disney Company, contributing to critically acclaimed work across Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, and select Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, and Disney+ productions — including Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, Big Hero 6: The Series, Hamster & Gretel, Milo Murphy’s Law, Mickey Mouse Funhouse, and the Emmy-considered pilots for Amphibia and Muppet Babies.
Kristin’s recent slate spans both major studio and independent projects. She has led casting and/or voice direction on titles such as Dora for Nickelodeon, Adult Swim and Cartoon Network series, Quokka’s Wild Life (Epipheo), and the dubbed animated feature Ajisaka: The King and the Flower of Life (MSV Studios). She is currently collaborating on unannounced work with Waterslide Studios, as well as the deeply meaningful animated adaptation of Dos Palabras, based on Isabel Allende’s celebrated story, alongside creators associated with award-winning series like Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Jane the Virgin.
As the founder of Paiva Productions, Kristin casts for animated series across preschool, kids/family, adult animation, video games, dubbing, and feature films. A member of the LGBTQ+ community with ADHD and mixed heritage, her work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a deep commitment to representation, both on screen and behind the mic. Known for creating collaborative, talent-forward environments, she is passionate about uplifting emerging voices and shaping a voiceover industry that reflects the world as it truly is: diverse, dynamic, and deeply human.
